Project Overview
Revitalizing Anh Hong, a beloved family-run Vietnamese restaurant known for its signature "Seven Courses of Beef" and personalized spring/summer rolls. This project seeks to modernize the brand while honoring its cultural roots, creating a fresh and polished identity. Fueled by a passion for creativity and culinary heritage, I embarked on a personal mission to craft a visually appealing brand redesign and merchandise that celebrates the essence of the restaurant. Through careful design choices, cultural elements are seamlessly integrated into every aspect of the project.
DESIGN PROCESS
The Anh Hong design process involved delving into family history for inspiration, followed by iterative sketching sessions, resulting in the initial draft. This draft was then refined and structured into a cohesive design system and layout.
LOGO IDEATION
Inspired by the graceful curvature of cow horns, the logo reflects simplicity and elegance.

COLOR SYSTEM
The name "Anh Hong" symbolizes charcoal flames, influencing the chosen yellow-to-burgundy gradient palette.

FONT
Selected native Vietnamese fonts that not only accurately depict Vietnamese accents but also add a refined touch through their elegant serif design.
